Eyebrows are the frame for our faces. Well-groomed eyebrows can give you an instant eyelift, make your eyes the focal point, and give the illusion of a more lifted, youthful face.

Brow Color

Preferences vary when it comes to brow color. Some people like them lighter than their hair, some like them to match their hair, and some like brows that are darker than their hair. Look for products that match the color of your brows as closely as possible.

Katrina’s faves: The cruelty-free Damone Roberts Brow Pencils, Brow Shadow Duos, and his clear and color Brow Gels

Powder Application

Apply your brow powder first to the center of your eyebrow, then to the end of your brow close to your outer eye, and finally to the beginning of your brow close to your nose. You want to start at the center of your eyebrow because this is where you can lift your entire face and create true definition.

For Full Brows

To create a fuller look, apply your brow makeup of choice – pencil, powder or gel – moving back and forth as detailed above. Finish with a spoolie brush, sweeping up and over your brow from the inner corner to the outer corner.

Tip: You can find spoolie brushes at the drugstore, Ulta, or amazon.com for under $10.

Soften Your Brow Color

Whether you want to soften your natural brow’s color or you used too much color, simply use translucent powder to diffuse the depth of color. Translucent powder will also make pencils, gels, and powders last longer. Simply dip your spoolie brush into loose powder, tap off the excess, and gently brush it through your brows.
