Happy Galentine’s Month, Boston!

What would we do without our ladies – family, friends, acquaintances, co-workers? They listen, they make us laugh, they’re there for us. So what better way to celebrate our female friendships than to go out and have some Galentine’s fun? And why celebrate just on February 13? Let’s make it a Galentine’s Month! We looked at lots of events happening in and around Boston, and here are our picks for fun ways to celebrate with your crew. Enjoy! XO The Team

Sip & Script Galentine’s Celebration, Wed, Feb 9, 6:30-8:00 PM, at Democracy Brewing in Boston: Gather your friends for a night of calligraphy, good cheer, and good beer! At this fun workshop you’ll get an introduction to modern calligraphy. They’ll cover all the basics and get you ready to add those special lettered details to your snail mail, party paper goods, home decor and more! The class includes 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, a beginner’s calligraphy kit, and all the instructor guidance you need. Tickets are $65/person. Galentine’s Day Cookie Decorating and Flower Arranging Workshop, February 10, 6:30-8:30pm, at FInz in Salem: Grab your gals for a fun night of flower arranging and cookie decorating. You’ll decorate a delicious set of Valentine’s Day themed cookies with folks from The Painted Pastry, then create a beautiful flower arrangement with the pros from Bubbly ‘n’ Blooms. Enjoy cocktails, and at the end of the night you’ll bring home beautiful cookies and a centerpiece, too! All supplies will be provided. Tickets are $100/person. Petals on Porter Galentine’s Brunch, February 12, 11:30am-1:30pm at Pazza on Porter, Boston: Get your ladies together for some flower arranging and Mimosas! Join Tina DelRaso, owner of Petal & Ink, as she leads a class to make a Valentine’s inspired floral arrangement. Tickets are $71/person and include a glass of wine or a mimosa. DRAGtacular Lunch, February 12, 12-2:30pm at Laugh Boston, Boston: Celebrate Galentine’s Day with a star-studded line-up of Boston’s best drag performers! Enjoy a delicious brunch, a theme-based specialty cocktail menu, and performers lip syncing and dancing to songs you can sing along to. Tickets start at $60/person. Masks, proof of vaccination, and matching ID are required for entry, and you need proof you’re old enough for a cocktail – your license will do. To learn more and buy tickets click here

Galentine’s Day Crafty Brunch at Remnant Brewing, February 13, 11:30am-4pm, at Remnant Brewing in Somerville: Grab some brunch from the Bow Restaurant, a tasty drink from Remnant, and get crafty with the people of Tiny Turns Paperie in the Remnant Brewing Cafe. Valentine’s Day Show with Lenny Clarke, February 14, 7:30-9pm, at Giggles Comedy Club (in the Prince Restaurant), Saugus: Bring your ladies to see the comedy legend, Boston’s own Lenny Clarke, for dinner, drinks, and lots of laughter!
